Before each shift, our team takes 15 minutes to share the most exciting and encouraging moments from the previous day. Our favorite moments are always with practice members. We are blessed to take part in your journey towards better health and quality of life!
Brenda Martin is one practice member who has excited us this month. She started regular adjustments at Vero Health Center about a year ago to alleviate joint, hip, and leg pain. Now, she's taking full advantage of the progress she's experienced!
I have seen improvement in quite a few areas, but last Monday I went to Valla's Pumpkin Patch and spent 7 hours walking around with absolutely no pain. That is the first time I've been able to do something like that in over 5 years.

Racing Through Fall
What happens when an All-American track star takes on a doctor who got 11th in the National Bodybuilding Championships? Sarah and Dr. Scott challenged each other to a milelong race last month. Our team cheered Dr. Scott to victory on a beautiful Friday afternoon. He capitalized on his lap and a half head start and beat out Sarah, who finished her mile in 5 minutes and 43 seconds. These two definitely deserve a round of applause!
Meet Emily
Hello, my name is Emily! I grew up in Hampton but now live in West Des Moines. I graduated college at Upper Iowa University with a Marketing degree. I enjoy staying active, spending time with family, watching football (go Cowboys!), and traveling with my fiancé, Nick. I am excited to be part of the Vero Health Center team!
